Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The Forum of Four Kalimantan Governor determined to continue to push the central government to accomplish the construction of infrastructure through each province , so that inter-regional connectivity for increased acceleration of economic growth can be completed.
South Kalimantan Governor Rudy Ariffin in Banjarmasin, said Wednesday, 2014 Musrenbang (or deliberation of development planning meeting) was held on Tuesday (4/3) at the Grand Senyiur Balikpapan.
It was attended by East Kalimantan Governor H Awang Farouk Ishak, Governor H Rudy Ariffin, Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan H Ahmad Diran, officials representing the Governor West Kalimantan and representing the Governor of North Kalimantan. Also present the regents, mayors, DPRD members, the chief of military regional commander and related agencies in Kalimantan, also some representatives of ministries, members of the DPR-RI and DPD from Kalimantan.
According to the Governor , infrastructure and energy connectivity among provinces in Kalimantan is very important to be resolved, to encourage economic growth and cope with other provinces.
Especially for South Kalimantan, the proposals presented for fiscal year 2015 includes Banjarbakula metropolitan infrastructure development, regional development investment attention (KPI) Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development (MP3EI).
In addition, the subject of serious discussions is food security and inter-regional development connectivity in South Kalimantan with a total proposed budget of Rp 5,89 trillion.
In the construction of Metropolitan Banjarbakula, South Kalimantan proposed toll road development Banjarmasin - Martapura, Banjarmasin port access road - Barito Bridge, Antasari bridge construction, road construction completion River Ulin, provision and management of the Regional Raw Water Banjarbakula, provision of buses for mass transit, and development Banjarmasin port.
As for connectivity development, according to the governor of which will soon be implemented is development of Syamsudin Noor Airport with a total cost of Rp1,5 trillion.
Regional Musrenbang Borneo was officially opened by the Governor of East Kalimantan as the Coordinator of Accelerated Development Cooperation Forum Kalimantan Regional Revitalization (FKRP2RK). He said, now that North Kalimantan (Kaltara) officially accepted as a member of the FKRP2RK, so that its members grow into 5 Provinces.
