The state elementary school of SDN Melayu 5 Banjarmasin complained about dogs that roam freely until they enter classes when students are studying.

Head School of the SDN Melayu 5 Banjarmasin Wahdini Herawati here on Monday claimed she had asked the Livestock Service Office to reprimand the dog owner whose house was right the opposite of school building.

He said, the dog was considered quite disturbing because there was a feeling of fear and anxiety from students and teachers if the dog suddenly attacked.

"But it seems that the dog owner is ignored," he said.

He hoped the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) officers would immediately act to overcome this unrest.

"This environment that does not support is suspected to be one of the factors causing the lack of students in this school," she said.

In fact, Wahdini said, the location of the school located on Jalan Veteran Gang Sempati Banjarmasin was adjacent to state junior high school SMPN 6 which is a favorite school in the Thousand Rivers City.

The school also continues to improve in terms of facilities and infrastructure to further complement the classrooms that have seen new renovations.

He hopes all parties including residents in the surrounding environment of the school to respect each other for the smooth learning process for students.
