HSU Police Confiscates Five Sabu-Sabu Packets

Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews South Kalimantan) - The North Hulu Sungai Drug Detective Police seized five packets of sabu-sabu from a dealer caught in a village.

"The perpetrator was caught not far from his house in Palimbang Gusti Village, North Hulu Sungai (HSU)," said Head of Public Relations of the HSU Resort Police First Insp (Iptu) Alam in Amuntai on Wednesday.

Suspect HM alias HA (39) has long been the police's target operation (TO).

A member of the drug unit then disguised as a buyer and ordered crystal meth (sabu-sabu) to the suspect.

However, the perpetrator who knew the arrival of officers during the transaction had thrown evidence of a package of sabu-sabu to the back of his house.

"We managed to find the sabu-sabu that was thrown away beside the search of his body also found evidence on the suspect," said Alam.e

Police also confiscated a cash Rp400,000 allegedly the result of sales of sabu-sabu received by the suspect from the buyer.

"The perpetrators charged under Act No. 35/2009 on Narcotics criminal law with a threat of at least four years in prison," said Head of Public Relations.
