Martapura, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The public order officers (Bhabinkamtibmas) of Banjar Resort Police, South Kalimantan, oversee the use of village funds in the local district.

Banjar Resort Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Takdir Mattanete in Martapura said on Saturday he ordered members of Bhabinkamtibmas to oversee the use of village funds.

"I ordered members of Bhabinkamtibmas to oversee the village funds so that their use could be right on target and the people enjoy the proceeds from the central fund," he said.

He said the involvement of Bhabinkamtibmas is one form of public service to the community in the guidance, escort, and supervision of these funds.

Through assistance to police personnel supervision, it is expected that the funds which amount reached Rp1 billion for each village can be used properly. The goal is as early detection to avoid misuse and deviation of these funds.

"Anything related to money is usually prone to abuse and must be supervised so that the distribution of funds on target and activities can run as expected," he said.

Meanwhile, a member of Bhabinkamtibmas in Martapura Kota Sector Police, Chief Brig (Bripka) Harry Sevie Anton, has visited the village office. The sector police chief First Insp (Iptu) Siswadi said the visit is to bring the police closer to the community.

"Bhabinkamtibmas member came to visit the Head of Tanjung Rema Village to meet the village head Sahtam to stay in touch and ask about the use of village funds," he said.
