Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Members of Kotabaru Naval Base, South Kalimantan, secured Nt (32), a fake soldier.
"He was secured in a printing office," said Kotabaru Naval Base Commander Lt. Col. (E) Joko Andriyanto in Kotabaru, Wednesday (6/9).
Initially the man, identified as a resident of Pasuruan, East Java, intended to make a membership card (KTA) of the Navy in a printing on Jalan M Alwi, North Pulau Laut.
"That information came to our intel," continued Joko.
Nt was then taken to Naval Military Police Detachment (Denpomal), Kotabaru Naval Base.
From the interrogation, the perpetrator was known to have served in the Navy but was dismissed in disrespect by the last rank as the second flat.
After the desertion, he still claimed to be a soldier with a motive of dashing and charming women.
"Previously Nt once claimed to be the major, sergeant major. These things will certainly harm the institution of National Armed Forces (TNI), especially the Navy," said Joko.
Once secured, the perpetrator and the evidence in the form of bags containing fake KTA and a number of uniforms of the Navy submitted to the Kotabaru Police for further legal process.
"For further development, crime detective unit will deepen the case," said Kotabaru Deputy chief Police Yusriandi Yusrin.
Currently the perpetrator is only subject to the identity forgery. Police are still investigating possible other criminal acts, such as fraud and the victims who suffered loss.
