The Regent of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan Province, H Sayed Jafar, has again confirmed the extension of the term of office. This time for 11 village heads and 56 members of Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Kelumpang Barat Sub-district and Pamukan Barat Sub-district.
"Continue to serve, provide services and always improve people's welfare," said the Regent here on Tuesday (Oct 8, 2024).
He asked village heads and BPD members to continue to contribute sustainably to village development, and always maintain synergy between village government and the community to achieve common goal.

Ensure community services run well supported by superior public policy, including fast, easy and open administration services, and friendly to every citizen and able to embrace all components of the community.
"As village head and BPD members you must bring positiv changes to your village," he said.
The Regent also informed the public that health services are now made easier by simply using ID card or locally known as KTP, they can be served by the nearest health facility.
On this occasion, Kotabaru Regent handed over two units of two wheeled operational service vehicles, one for family planning instructor in Kelumpang Barat and the other for Pamukan Barat.
