Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, Muhammad Rusli, opened the regional medium-term development planning meeting (Musrenbang RPJMD) 2025-2029, in orer to realize the development in the next five years.
“I invite all of us to actively contribute in the discussion and planning with solid cooperation between the government, community and private sector. I am sure, we can bring Kotabaru to a more advanced, prosperous and highly competitive direction," said Muhammad Rusli at the Sebelimbingan office complex in Kotabaru, Tuesday.
The Regent said this forum is an important momentum in formulating the direction of the regional development for the next five years by referring to the shared vision of “Kotabaru is great, advanced and sustainable”.
To realize this vision, four main missions should be implemented, namely building competitiveness and human resources with superior and creative character to improve the quality of education and public welfare.
Increasing quality economic growth through revitalizing local superior potential and innovation oriented toward people's welfare, strengthening bureaaucracy and governance to assure effectiveness of transparent and accountable public services.
Building equitable and just regional infrastructure to support regional resilience and sustainable environmental sustainability.
"This activity is a strategic forum to collect community aspiration as well as formulating the direction of development policies for the next five years," he said.
DPRD Speaker Suwanti said as a regional development document, the RPJMD 2025-2029 contains vision and mission of development program for five years.
Its planning must be guided by the long term regional development plan which has a duration of 20 years (2025-2045), which is a guideline for annual development planning in the regional development work plan document (RKPD).
