Police Seizes Rental Car Embezzler

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 29/12 (AntaranewsKalsel) - West Banjarmasin Criminal Investigation police arrested a man who pawned a rented car.

"We caught the perpetrator after the rental car owner report the case," said Chief Criminal Unit Ipda Pol Sisworo West Banjarmasin in Banjarmasin on Thursday.

The incident began when AA (40), resident of Jalan Belitung Darat, rented a car belonging to H Masran, also a resident of Jalan Belitung Darat. However, until the time limit specified car lease payments not yet been undertaken.

The victim immediately reported the act and the police quickly responded by securing and arrested AA on Tuesday (27/12) morning in the area where he lived.

From that incident H Masran losses Rp120.000.000 and the offender has been detained for further legal proceedings.

AA has been named as a suspect and charged under Article 372 Penal Code On Embezzlement under penalty of five years.
