Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 24/12 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin quick response unit's police (Sabhara) arrested a traffic accident offender carrying sabu-sabu.
"Previously he was involved in a traffic accident and when secured and checked we found a packet of sabu-sabu in his pocket," said Police Chief Kombes Pol Anjar Wicaksana Sik, Saturday.
The traffic accident was on Saturday afternoon at around 17.00 pm at Jalan Lambung Mangkurat, Central Banjarmasin.
Once secured, the perpetrator directly interrogated by police. He was identified as R, resident of Jalan Teluk Tiram Laut, West Banjarmasin.
R (23) and evidence directly submitted to the Central Banjarmasin Sector Police to undergo examination and further legal proceedings.
"The case continues to be developed by sector police to see where the perpetrator gains the illicit goods," he said.
He was charged under article 112 jo 114 of Law No. 35 Year 2009 on Narcotics with the threat of at least 4 years in prison.
