The City Government of Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, has again won the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) award for improving the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP).
"We are grateful Banjarbaru has again won the award with the highest score in South Kalimantan as well as proof of seriousness and hard work in implementing the principles of good governance," said Mayor Muhammad Aditya Mufti Ariffin here on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
He said he have organized a coordination meeting and monitoring program as evidence and to show commitment to preventing corruption.

The coordination meeting presented a resource person from the Directorate of Coordination and Supervision Region III of KPK RI, namely Intermediate Corruption Eradication Analyst Yuli Kamalia.
"We receive MCP award from KPK handed over by Intermediate Corruption Eradication Analyst Yuli Kamalia and ranked first with a significant increase in South Kalimantan," he said.
Banjarbaru scored 90.94 is included in the green category and MCP assessment related to system improvement with two survey, integrity assessment and anticorruption perception index survey.
"We also glad with the monitoring, assistance and supervision by the Indonesian State Audit Board (BPK RI), so we can run a good and clean government, free from all forms of law violations," he pointed out.
Several areas were concern to KPK, including ASN governance, buying and selling positions, licensing governance and licensing via Digital MPP which was launched some time ago.
"Coordination meeting and monitoring of corruption prevention in the City Government of Banjarbaru confirmed a strong commitment to maintaining integrity, transparency and accountability in administering government for the welfare of the people in the capital city of South Kalimantan Province," said Aditya.
