The provincial government of South Kalimantan is currently preparing to hold an international level paragliding sport championship at the popular attraction of Bukit Batu, Sungai Luar, Banjar District.
 
"It is scheduled to be held in August 2024," said Secretary of Forestry Office Kinta Ambarasti in Banjarbaru, Thursday.

The government, she said, is preparing the location of the championship, including take off and landing facilities. 

Bukit Batu (Rock Hill) is a natural attraction managed by the South Kalimantan Forestry Agency through Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Sultan Adam Forest Park to accerate the facilities.

Development of paragliding sports infrastructure and facilities in the Bukit Baru area offers views of Riam Kanan Reservoir will collaborate with CV Artwork Design for exposure, villa construction by CV Hanikarya Engineering, and tourism business with PT HNR Park Lane.

In fact, the public forest of Sultan Adam (Tahura Sultan Adam) is an area intended for conservation.
 
Kinta appreciates investors who proposed cooperation plans to develop the attraction of Bukit Batu as part of Sultan Adam Forest Park to generate local revenue (PAD).
