Head of South Kalimantan Forestry Agency Hanif Faisol Nurofik was fascinated with the nature enchantment of the Mamake Mount. He said this mountain will be the place of paragliding sport in the province.

As he came to this attraction which lies in Tirawan Village, Pulau Laut Utara sub-district, Kotabaru, he valued this mountain is not inferior to other tour in South Kalimantan.

Hanif assessed the mountain from its beautiful view, its location in the capital of the district not far from the Gedambaan Beach, and considered it will be easy to sell.

"It must be managed in international manner, either in the handling of waste, water management, design of buildings, to make the Mamake Mountain more beautiful," he pointed out here, Saturday.

According to him, Mamake is very suitable for paragliding sport and this potential should be developed by partnering the sport association.

“This will be the only tour place for paragliding sport in South Kalimantan. Insya Allah (God Willing) provincial government will fully support the Mamake to be a new and fully tour destination,” Hanif emphasized.
