Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The government of Tabalong raises the salary of janitor after the district won the clean city award Adipura Buana.
Regent Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani said on Tuesday that the award for `Saraba Kawa Earth' (a nickname for Tabalong) is certainly cause appreciation, one of them to raise the salary of janitors.
"Specially for janitors working in the field we will raise their honorarium, including providing the 13th and 14th salary in fiscal year 2017," said Anang.
With the rise in fees later Anang hopes janitor better performance in support of Tanjung as a clean, healthy and green town.
Separately, Syahid, a janitor, said his honorarium as a street sweeper is Rp1.3 million with five-year terms of working.
The local government plans to raise the wage of a janitor would be greeted happily by Syahid and other yellow forces whodirectly involved in the cleanliness of the town.
Previously in order to welcome the Adipura, Tabalong governmentheld a convoy of janitors from the southern tip of Tabalong up to Taman Giat Tanjung.
