Chairperson of the Indonesia Olympic Committee (KOI) Raja Sapta Oktohari has said that the postponement of the  Hangzhou  Asian Games 2022 will have a major impact on increasing the budget for the contingent's preparations.

In addition, it will also affect the athletes’ readiness, he added. .

Since actually they have been prepared to reach their peak performance in a sporting event scheduled to be held in 2022, the postponement may make them  lose their momentum and focus.
