The District Government of Tanah Bumbu received the award from the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan as the first best in village fund distribution.

The Governor of South Kalimantan H. Sahbirin Noor handed over the award to the Regional Secretary of Tanah Bumbu H. Ambo Sakka, who represented the Regent of Tanah Bumbu HM Zairullah Azhar.

"We are very happy and excited for this achievement as the first best," said Ambo in Batulicin, Monday.

He said that this award was the result of the hard work and good coordination of all levels of the Tanah Bumbu District Government until they achieved the best in South Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Community and Village Empowerment Agency (Dinas PMD) Samsir said that Tanah Bumbu won the best in South Kalimantan because the distribution of the village fund reached 99.8 percent.

According to him, this cannot be separated from the role of Regent HM Zairullah Azhar who always provides direction and his support to make the village fund distribution as a priority. The reason is that building a village is the same as building a district.

"We also thank the sub-district heads and village heads who have coordinated well until Tanah Bumbu won the first best in the performance of distributing village fund throughout South Kalimantan Province," said Samsir.
