Tapin District received the second-best title in South Kalimantan for the performance of village fund distribution.

The award was received when Tapin Regent HM Arifin Arpan attended the National Seminar on Strengthening Transparency and Accountability of Procurement of Goods and Services organized by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at Mahligai Pancasila Building, Banjarmasin, Thursday.

"Alhamdulilah (praise be to Allah) the distribution of village fund in Tapin has named the second-best in South Kalimantan," he said.

According to the Regent, he has always emphasized to the village head to always be transparent in managing village funds, both income and expenditure, because the funds are entrusted for development in the village which aims to improve the welfare of the community.

"Tapin District always emphasizes village officials to be able to manage village funds transparently," he said.
