Adaro through its Adaro Santri Sejahtera (PASS) program has conducted fish seed distribution at the Nurul Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School's pond in Halong Sub-district, Balangan, Monday (Nov 1, 2021).
The spread of 10,000 tilapia fish was begun with thanksgiving for the previous harvest and a prayer for the future business success which was attended by ustadz (teachers), santri (students), ULM students, and Adaro's representatives.
“With a modest thanksgiving adds with high enthusiasm of business management and students, hopefully, the results will be as expected," said Section Head of Adaro Bangun Negeri Foundation, Agung Nugroho.
This year, he said, the activity was special because Adaro and the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) joined hands to realize the self-sufficiency of the Islamic boarding school (pesantren).
“This year is very special because we collaborate with ULM through the Matching Fund program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology so our efforts can be maximized," he pointed out.
