Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Tiga Roda cement producer PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk won "The Best Indonesia Green Awards" from La Tofi School of CSR.
Executive Director of Indocement Kuky Permana through a press release on Friday, explaining Indocement won five award categories in "Indonesia Green Awards".
They are category of saving water resources, the development of new and renewable energy, the development of biodiversity, pollution prevention pioneer, and the latest development of waste management.
"With the awards achieved in five categories, then Indocement received The Best Indonesia Green Award 2015," he explained.
Not only the award from the School of CSR, Indocement received an award in the category of "companies that carry out corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the environmental field" from the Bogor District government through the Bogor District Environmental Agency (BLH).
Kuky Permana acknowledged the success of CSR program with environmental orientation can not be separated from the role of a local hero.
Currently, he said, Indocement has established 76 local heroes scattered throughout Indonesia and expected that number to continue to grow and provide considerable influence to society as other beneficiaries.
