The prestigious "Trust Award" was received by the South Kalimantan Provincial Police from the Strategic Indonesia Police Study Institute (Lemkapi) for winning the national champion in public service in the traffic sector.
"Services at South Kalimantan Police, including its Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas), have been very good with a variety of innovation and breakthrough, so we present this year's Trust Award," said Executive Director of Lemkapi Dr. Edi Saputra Hasibuan in Banjarmasin, Thursday.
According to Edi, South Kalimantan Police under the leadership of Insp.Gen. Rikwanto has shown high dedication and loyalty in the frame of realizing precise (predictive, responsible, just, and transparent) police.
Various breakthroughs and innovations were made, including Ditlantas Mobile with various features. Among them are SP2HP Lantas, PJR service, Samsat queues, and public complaint service.
For these innovations, the South Kalimantan Police won the 2020 national title for the category of public service from the National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas). Those services are applications for STNK (vehicle registration certificate) at the Samsat Office and BPKB (vehicle ownership documents) service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"This is proof that the National Police Headquarters (Mabes Polri) recognizes the good performance of South Kalimantan Police. Hopefully, the spirit of serving and providing the best for the public is maintained and continues to be improved," said Edi.
