Public road access in Ilung Pasar Lama Village, RT 001 RW 001, Batang Alai Utara (Batara) Sub-district, Central Hulu Sungai (HST) landslides on Wednesday (20/1) at about 17.00 WiTA (Central Indonesia Time).
"The road cannot be passed by cars, however, motorcycles can still go through the side road or the residents' houses, but they have to be careful," said a resident, Yudi.
"Right now, the landslide has expanded to a length of 10 meters more," said the young man who was just elected as chairman of BPD.

Previously, he said, the area which is on the bank of Batang Alai River, was also hit by the flood, but not as severe as in Barabai Sub-district, only one day inundating the public road and residents' houses.
He appealed to residents who crossed to be careful because the road access connect several villages in Batara Sub-district.
