The Angkasa Pura I management provides antibody and antigen rapid test flight service users and the public at the Syamsudin Noor Banjarmasin International Airport Bus Shelter Building.

General Manager of the airport Amiruddin Florensius here on Tuesday said that rapid test is a requirement for prospective passengers at the airport.

"This service is open beginning Tuesday (Dec 22, 2020) and every service user or general public can get antibody or antigen rapid tests easily and at affordable prices," he said.

This service is in line with the COVID-19 Task Force Circular No. 3 of 2020 and the Transportation Ministry Circular No. 22 of 2020 which requires negative antigen rapid test results for travelers using air transportation to and from Java Island.

AP I's management strongly supports policies related to flight requirements during the long holidays of Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021, thus it open the service from Monday to Sunday from 07.00 to 15.00 WITA (Central Indonesia Time).

"Service users can have the test with a relatively fast waiting time of approximately 15 minutes for antibody rapid test and about 30 minutes for antigen rapid test after sampling," he said.

AP I is cooperating with its subsidiary Angkasa Pura Support and Mutiara Bunda Hospital for this service.

"The cost for antibody rapid test is Rp85,000 dan antigen rapid test Rp170,000. We hope this service can make it easier for passengers," he said.

In service, officers wear complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), while service users are required to wear masks, keep their distance, and must wash their hands before entering the area of rapid test service.
