The spokesperson of the Barito Kuala Task Force for Acceleration Handling (GTPP) of COVID-19 Hj Azizah Sri Widari said there were two fresh cases on Friday (Oct 9, 2020).

"The two newly confirmed positive patients are Btl-647, male, 52 years old, lives in Tamban Sub-district, and Btl-648, female, 19 years old, domiciled in Alalak Sub-district," she said in Marabahan, Friday.

According to her, Btl-647 is currently being isolated in the company's facility, where he works.

"While Btl-648 is undergoing independent isolation at home," said Sri Widari, who is also the chief of Health Office.

Until now, she said, the number of positive COVID-19 patients in Barito Kuala (Batola) was 646, a total of 617 patients had recovered.

Meanwhile, the number of suspects was 8, probable was nil, close contact 34, died 8, active cases 21.
                      
"15 of active cases are spread, 2 at the Anshari Shaleh Hospital, 3 at Abdul Azis Marabahan Hospital, 1 at Ulin Hospital, 3 at Bhayangkara Hospital, 6 at the provincial quarantine, and 6 others in independent isolation," she said.
