South Hulu Sungai (Hss) District in South Kalimantan offers a challenge of bamboo rafting adventure in the area of Meratus Mountains at a new location named Liang Lahung, Halunuk Village, Loksado Sub-district.
From the video shared by Antara News, people apparently enjoyed the new attraction. Not only adults people, but children also took the challenge of bamboo rafting going through rapids.
Chief of the village, Mahmudin, said the attraction has just opened since August 2020 under the coordination with the HSS Youth, Sport, and Tourism Agency (Disporapar).
"Entrance fee is only Rp3,000, parking fee Rp2,000 for motorbike and Rp5,000 for cars," he said.
Meanwhile, the bamboo rafting fare is Rp100,000 per rafting for three people, including jockey, with a journey of approximately one hour. "Then there is a further route to Padang Batung to be precise at Durian Rabung about Rp300,000, also for three people," he said.

HSS Development Administration and Social Assistant Sasmi Rifani said this is a new tourist spot opened by the residents in the village and inventoried by the HSS government.
To guide them they were informed that every tourist spot should apply a health protocol.
The local government tries to encourage new tourist attractions to be developed. Inputs from residents can be conveyed through relevant agencies.
Head of HSS Communication and Informatics Hj Rahmawati hopes that the community is really committed to developing tourism potential, including by providing trash bins and educating visitors not to litter.
