Personnel of the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) forcibly shut down a food stall and a restaurant in the Pulogadung area, East Jakarta, Tuesday, for violating large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), effective since a day before.
"We are (only) implementing Gubernatorial Regulation Number 88 of 2020 on PSBB that we will return to the initial phase of PSBB," Chief of Satpol PP of Pulogadung Sub-district Andik Sukaryanto stated.
The food stall is Beringin Sawo, while the restaurant is Upnormal Coffee Roaster in the Rawamangun area.
During a raid conducted on Tuesday, Satpol PP officers found the food stall and restaurant offering tables and chairs for customers to eat and drink.

The food stall and restaurant found violating PSBB are sanctioned in line with Gubernatorial Regulation Number 79 of 2020 on PSBB sanction.
The Satpol PP officers later sealed the food stall and restaurant for 24 hours.
Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has officially slammed the brakes on relaxations applied to PSBB in the capital and announced their complete re-imposition to contain the spread of COVID-19.

This means we have to implement PSBB as it was at the onset of the pandemic. This is the emergency brake that we have to pull," he noted in a press statement at the Jakarta City Hall on last Wednesday evening.
