The Banjarmasin's Pendamai Traditional Game Village (KPTB) members and management held a gathering in Tabanio, Tanah Laut District (about 60,6 kilometers from Banjarmasin).

The coach of the KPTB Pendamai Hj Siti Fatimah reminded the entourage to keep complying with the health protocol in all their activities.

“I remind you to always wear a mask, keep physical distance in every activity. Hopefully, Allah SWT will always protect us all from diseases and disasters,” she said in the gathering on Saturday (Sept 5, 2020).

The gathering was also attended by a number of members of the Indonesian Aerobics and Fitness Instructors Association (ASIAFI) of Banjarmasin.

The activity aims to further promote South Kalimantan traditional sports and games. Games such as balogo, engrang (stilts), bagasing (top), and ketekan or ketapel (slingshot) were shown to people inTabanio.

“Hopefully with this activity, we can be more enthusiastic to preserve traditional games and increase intimacy and a sense of kinship," said Hj Siti Fatimah who is also a Chairwoman of the Banjarmasin Association of Women's Organization (GOW).
