Youth, Sport, and Tourism Agency (Disporapar) of the Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan, collaborated with BorneoTrip in promoting its tourism.

"The form of collaboration is we hold a Digital Destination Workshop at the Tanah Bumbu Regent Office in Batulicin for two days January 21-22, 2020," said head of the agency Hamaludin Taher in Batulicin, Tuesday (Jan 21, 2020).

50 participants took part in the workshop. They consisted of tourism actors, tourism awareness groups, hotel management, as well as culinary and home industry actors.

Through the workshop participants can create a standard tour guide package, make a tourist advertising copywriting, making tourism photos, and their business product photos.

Chief Officer of BorneoTrip Adam Wiradana said, the target to be achieved is to bring up the Tanah Bumbu package tour that is ready to be marketed.

With this collaboration, the Tanah Bumbu tour destinations will be promoted digitally, which has an impact on increasing tourists arrivals to then boosting the local economy.

"From the workshop, as many as 20 natural tour packages appear, including culinary, and others in the BorneoTripi.id," he pointed out.

The effort will continue to be carried out by the local government to advance the tourism sector, one of which is through online promotion.
