The Regional Assembly of the Islamic Students Alumni Association (KAHMI) chapter South Hulu Sungai (HSS) held a book review on "Membingkai Bayang-Bayang" written by H. Sutarto Hadi, the University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) Banjarmasin Rector. It was opened by Regent H Achmad Fikry.
The author of the book H. Sutarto Hadi here on Thursday (Dec 26, 2019), said his thanks to the District Government of HSS for facilitating the activity. He slightly opened the contents of the book he wrote, which according to him is more autobiographical of his struggle so far, complete with all experiences that might be used as reference for young people.
"In essence, if you achieve success, everything should be fought for. Never despair to achieve goal," he said in the introduction.
The reason of the city of Kandangan was chosen for the book review, it turned out that the author is a native Kandangan. He said, some people might think it is peculiar, but that is the fact that kandangan should be proud that one of its native son could become an ULM rector. This might be a trigger for the enthusiasm of students from Kandangan or HSS.

HSS Regent H Achmad Fikry said he also thanked the ULM rector for choosing Kandangan as a place for the book review. It is a pride for us HSS residents for having a native son who could reach the peak of his career at a wellknown state university.
The book review featured two reviewers, Head of Syariah Doctoral Study Program at the Antasari State Islamic University (UIN) Banjarmasin H. Ahmadi Hasan and Head of Social Sciences Program of the ULM's Faculty of Politics and Social Setia Budhi. While the moderator was Nida Guslaili Rahmadina, chair of the KPU HSS.

The book review was attended by Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad, HSS Regional Secretay HM Noor, heads of Regional Apparatus Organizasi (OPD) of HSS Government, representatives of Forkopimda HSS, students and invited guests.
