The National 32nd Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) of Quran Recital competition for South Kalimantan Selatan Provincial level officially have been closed by the Provincial Secretary H Abdul Haris Makkie and the Regent of Kotabaru H Sayed Jafar, with Banjarmasin won the first overall champion and Kotabaru won the big three.
The regent remarked he was very grateful that the 32nd provincial level MTQ hosted by Kotabaru has been performed smoothly. The district has fulfilled the target by winning the third place after Banjar District, who won the second overall champion, and Banjarmasin as the first.

He expressed his gratitude to all kafilah who participated in the event. Especially for Kotabaru kafilah who have struggled to do their best until they achieved the big three in provincial level.

"I thank the kafilah of Kotabaru who have struggled and perform optimally in the 32nd MTQ 2019 this time," he pointed out.

According to him, this is the first step to go on improving in Al-Quran recitation and "to understand implement the Al-Quran" in daily life" in the beloved District of Kotabaru.
