The futsal team of state high school SMA Negeri 2 (popularly known as SMADA) Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, go to national futsal tournament, after winning two prestigious champion, namely the Regional Match Futsal Pocari Sweat 2019 and the Regional Match Futsal Hydro Coco 2019. 

Mayor of Banjarmasin H Ibnu Sina saw them off from the City Hall as they were about to leave for Jakarta, on Monday.

"We the city government feel proud with their achievement for winning two prestigious trophy of champion, Pocari Sweat and Hyro Coco, while previously (they won) Mayor Cup," he remarked. 



The mayor hoped the SMADA Banjarmasin, where he is one of the alumnus, to achieve other achievement at the national level. "You have made your school proud, your parents, and also this region," he pointed out.

If, he continued, they make their achievement at the national championship, either in Jakarta or in Solo, then the team will have the chance to compete at the upcoming Bangkok Futsal Tournament in Thailand on the behalf of this country.

"If you win the national champion and to represent Indonesia in Thailand, you make it proud of the people of all of Indonesia, let's pray together, hopefully it will be realized," he said.

He asked the players to remain disciplined in training, keep enthusistic, and not to slack. "Stay confident and uphold sportmanship," he advised.
