The Management of the Kotabaru District Hospital  of Pangeran Jaya Sumitra is now preparing a response to the recommendation of hospital class adjustments from the Ministry of Health.

Based on the results of the review, the Kotabaru Hospital wasrecommended dropping class from type C to type D.

"It is only a recommendation, okey, it has not been lowered. We are still given time to respond," said Head of the Medical Support and Development Division of Pangeran Jaya Sumitra Hospital Erwin Simanjuntak, Wednesday.

The hospital was established as a type C hospital since 1996. The class adjustments currently being carried out by the Ministry of Health allegedly related to the BPJS debt turmoil.

"There are 600 hospitals throughout Indonesia that are recommended to go down their class," Erwin said.

Four basic specialist medical services that must be owned by type C hospitals. Namely, internal medicine, child health, surgery, and obgin. Each specialist is required at least two doctors.

"Well, here there are no pediatricians, we have two surgeon, two internists , and one obgin," he said.
