Director General of Regional Development Industry (PPI) of the Ministry of Industry Dedy Mulyadie on South Kalimantan Province Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) in Banjarmasin on Wednesday said the government was working on various plans and development facilities in Batulicin industrial center.
Efforts that have been made include the preparation of a master plan for Batulicin industrial area since 2000. "With the steel industry base for the development of industrial areas in Batulicin expected to be the drivers of growth of other industries," he said.

The government has also established a strategic plan (Renstra) Batulicin industrial area in 2012 and is expected to be realized in subsequent years.
