The Central Hulu Sungai (HST) hajj prospectives pilgrim is scheduled to leave for Madinah on Juli 15, 2019, an official of the local offfice of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) said.
On the opening of manasik haji (haj rehearsal) at the HST Regent's pavilion, Wednesday (June 12), head of hajj section of the office H Abdul Hadi said, this year as many as 367 hajj candidates plus two flight group (keloter) officials will leave. The number is bigger than last year.
On the first phase, he said, 317 hajj candidates plus two local officials (PHD), 1 provincial (PHD) official, and 5 hajj officials grouped in flight group (keloter) 4 will leave on Juli 14 to the hajj dormitory and to fly to Madinah the next day.
The other 20 will join keloter 9 together with hajj prospective from Banjarmasin and Kotabaru. They go to dormitory on July 21 and leave for Madinah on July 22.
Meanwhile, an additional hajj quota given for 30 HST's hajj propspectives. They will join other South Kalimantan flight group. But so far the schedule for them to leave has not been set yet.
Regent H A Chairansyah personally and on the behalf of the district government congratulated the pilgrim to join the haj rehearsal (manasik haji) to be prepared for the worship.
"The hajj prospectives pilgrim could learn seriously and observe attentively to add their knowledge to make it easier for them to perform the hajj worship later," he said.
But he insisted the pilgrim to always maintain a good health and food pattern from now to prepare them selves for hajj worship.
