Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The dr. H Moch Ansari Saleh Hospital will go for the next step to be an international standard of service after the South Kalimantan Provincial Government-owned hospital won a National Standard Hospital Accreditation (SNARS) certificate.
Ansari Saleh Hospital Director dr. Izaak Akbar here on Saturday said the submission of the first edition of the SNARS certificate by the Hospital Accreditation Commission (KARS) showed that the services at the hospital he led had reached the plenary stage.
"Submission of certificates by KARS proves that services at the Ansari Saleh Hospital are already at the five-star level or complete," he said.
In the future, it can prepare itself to get international service accreditation by fulfilling all the stipulations.
On Saturday (April 27), the Chairperson of the Hospital Accreditation Executive Dr. Sutato presented the first edition of the SNARS certificate to the Ansari Saleh Hospital witnessed by the Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor.
According to Izaak, the certificate is an official acknowledgment from the government, which shows that the service in the Ansari Saleh Hospital is a quality service for patient safety, which is carried out and evaluated continuously.
"With the support of the Governor and DPRD, in the near future we will be able to get international accreditation," he said.
Preparation to get international accreditation, among others, all work done digitally, including administration, improvement of human resources quality and fulfillment.
Besides that, what is also important is the fulfillment of adequate hospital facilities and infrastructure.
The Governor Sahbirin Noor said that he was very proud of the achievement of the Ansari Saleh Hospital that had received full accreditation.
"Full accreditation also means showing enthusiasm to provide the best service for the community, especially for patients," he said.
The Chair of the Hospital Accreditation Executive Dr. Sutato said, the SNARS certificate was given, because the Ansari Saleh Hospital was considered to have met the service standards according to the stipulated provisions.
At present, there are around 400 hospitals in Indonesia that have received plenary accreditation.
