Rantau, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Tapin District Culture and Tourism Agency (Dispbudpar) prioritizes the development of three attractions in 2018.
The three tourism objects, said the head of the agency Hamdan Rosyadi in Rantau, Thursday (15/2), are Rutas River, Beramban Cave Area, and New Rantau Area.
"For the development of Rutas River tourism object in South Candi Laras Subdistrict, we get a special allocation fund (DAK) of Rp1.2 billion," he said.
The funds from the Ministry of Tourism, he explained, will be used for the construction of ports, toilets, and culinary areas.
"In Sungai Rutas, tourists can enjoy the river tour," he said.
As for the development of Beramban Cave area in Beramban Village, Disbudpar plans to build culinary area, and some other supporting facilities such as play area, outbound facility, and others.
"Beramban Cave area has several caves, such as Water Cave, Liang Babi Cave, Liang Macan Cave, and Cave of Wind," he said again.
He added that in 2019 the construction of the Tapin Dam in Piani District is scheduled for completion. This will certainly make Piani become the leading tourist attraction for Tapin.
"While for the New Rantau area, this year we plan to enliven the activity of musical parades, traditional music, and band music on a regular basis every week," said Hamdan.
