Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) entrusted two suspects of graft allegations in draft regulation on capital participation Iwan Rusmali and Andi Effendi to the Banjarmasin City Police detention.
"The two suspects are entrusted by the KPK for two days to be presented as witnesses of the defendant's trial of Muslih and Trensis on Tuesday," said the City Police Chief Sr Comr (Kombes) Anjar Wicaksana here on Monday.
Antara News Agency reported, both suspects arrived at the detention at 15:45 pm on Monday. Both wearing orange vests labeled KPK's detainee and escorted by four KPK investigators.
"We placed both suspects in special cells but with the same treatment with other prisoners, only the security that we improve," said Kapolresta.
As is known, the city legislative council speaker Iwan and deputy speaker Andi Effendi have been detained in the KPK detention in Jakarta during the investigation of the two who have been named as suspects.
Both will follow the defendant PDAM Bandarmasih Managing Director Muslih and his Financial Manager Trensis who had first underwent the first hearing on Thursday last week.
Muslih and Trensis are currently being held at the Banjarbaru Penitentiary after KPK entrusted them.
