Batulicin (ANTARA) - The district government of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, declared its readiness and support for the Safe, Healthy, Clean, and Beautiful Indonesia Movement (ASRI).
"Tanah Bumbu is committed to and will follow up President Prabowo Subianto's directive that all regional heads in Indonesia to implement a routine and sustainable clean up movement," Tanah Bumbu Regent Andi Rudi Latif remarked here on Saturday.

As a concrete form of support, Tanah Bumbu has a weekly Clean Friday (Jumat Bersih) program. This program is reinforced by Regent's Circular Letter No. B/600.4.15/2295/DLH-PSLB3.1.Bup/V/2025 concerning Clean Friday, issued in 2025 and continuing to this day.
The Clean Friday involves Tanah Bumbu government, TNI, Polri, sub-districts, villages, businesses, schools, and the community. All work together (gotong royong) cleaning up their respective neighborhoods, public facilities, and public spaces.
This campaign is an embodiment of Tanah Bumbu's development mission, "Organizing the city, building villages," as a step towards a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment for all residents.
Going forward, in synergy with the Asri Indonesia Movement, cleanup activities in Tanah Bumbu will be expanded to become a daily activity before office hours.
Regent Andi Rudi Latif hopes that the participation of all levels of government and the community will increase, the culture of cleanliness will deeply implanted, and reporting through the official link provided will be timely and consistent, so that the goal of creating a safe, healthy, clean, and beautiful environment can truly be achieved.
