Tanjung (ANTARA) - Manpower Ministry (Kemnaker) supports Tabalong District Government's program to produce 15,000 skilled workers through training and community competency development.
Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Afriansyah Noor conveyed this support at the recent audience of Tabalong Regent H Muhammad Noor Rifani and Deputy Regent Habib Muhammad Taufani Alkaf.
"Manpower Ministry ready to collaborate effectively and to support the program to produce 15,000 skill workers and other workforce sectors," said Afriansyah.

Also present at the audience were Director General of Manpower Supervision and Occupational Safety and Health Ismail Pataya, Speaker of Tabalong DPRD H Riza Fahlipi SM MM, Deputy Regent of Tabalong Habib Muhammad Taufani Alkaf and Head of Tabalong Manpower Office Hadi Ismanto.
Regent HM Noor Rifani hopes the collaboration with the Ministry will run smoothly, considering employment one of his priority programs.
"This program will empower workorce to be independent and become players in Tabalong," he explained.
The Tabalong Manpower Office has recorded the program has produced skilled workers through training, both community-based and competency-based, reaching 11,630 participants or 387.6 percent by 2025.
Head of the office Hadi Ismanto said that this achievement was the results of collaboration with several government agencies (SKPDs) and business sector.
"The training program is specifically designed to meet the need of business and industry as well as current development, through various innovations and intervention," Hadi explained.
