Balangan, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Balangan District Government through the Manpower and Transmigration Agency (Disnakertrans) confirms that the "Earth Sanggam" region is free of foreign labor.
Head of the Manpower Employment of Disnakertrans Riyadi Brata was speaking due to growing issue about a surge of foreign workers (TKA) in various regions in Indonesia.
According to data contained in Disnakertrans, since 2014 until the end of 2016, no data entry of foreign workers in the Balangan.
"Indeed, in 2014 there were a number of foreign workers who worked in the mining company PT Adaro Indonesia, but after that no more," he explained.
Administration to permit foreign workers, said Riyadi, is the authority of the province. While the district only received the company's annual report on the employment related companies operating in Balangan.
Related data collection on foreign labor, Riyadi Brata admitted, indeed Balangan constrained with special officer to supervise.
"We're up to now have no labor inspection officer, dealer employment officer, labor mediator officer, so that the distribution and supervision of labor can not be maximized," he explained.
"Usually we ask the provinces or Tabalong for special employment assistance officer, as only a special officer who has an employment related authority," he said.
