Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 7/12 (AntaranewsKalsel) - A mother who persecuted her stepgirl until now has notbeen detained by the city police for a reason she remain ed cooperative in the investigation.
"She was not arrested, because she was cooperative and has a baby," said police chief Kombes Pol Anjar Wicaksana Sik here, Wednesday.
He said, SAP (29), a resident of Mawar Urban Village, Central Banjarmasin, after the persecution came alone to the police and said she was mistaken has been persecuted her stepgirl, SAR (7), a 1st grade student in elementary school.
Chief police said although the perpetrator is not arrested, but her status remains as a suspect in the case.
"Cases of persecution against her stepgirl proceed and processed according to the applicable law," he told AntaranewsKalsel.
The case of abuse was revealed when the victim found with many injuries on her body, then her teacher and principal along with Bhabinkamtibmas directly drove the Banjarmasin police headquarters.
