"Physical construction of the TPA to be started in early 2017. It is expected to be completed during a year, so in 2018 will be operational," he said in Banjarbaru, Thursday.
He said that currently the process is still in the stage of making technical design covering the entire building of TPA, including a variety of facilities and support facilities.
If technical design is completed, according to him, the next process is the physical development with the whole financing comes from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing.
"Its construction is centrally funded and we expect all of them work smoothly, so that the regional landfill that will manage waste for three district and cities can be realized," he said.
The three district and cities are Banjarbaru, Banjar and Banjarmasin. The TPA construction is part of the mutually synergistic Banjar Bakula program.
Banjar Bakula is a program of clean water that covers five districts and cities, while the construction of a regional waste disposal site covers three district and cities.
According to Nadjmi Adhani, Banjarbaru municipal government is ready to support the smooth operation of the TPA by opening access roads along 11 kilometers from the driveway in Sungai Ulin.
"Access to the course set up new road from Sungai Ulin to the landfill and land acquisition will be assisted by empower organization (NGO) as a facilitator," he said.
He hopes that the community supported the city government opened access road to the landfill at the Cempaka subdistrict.
