Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) H. Achmad Fikry accompanied by Head of Bappelitbangda M. Arliyan Syahrial and a public figure H. Asyikin Noor presented awards for the best innovation in 2021 in the district.
Head of HSS Development Planning, Research and Development Agency (Bappelitbangda) M Arliyan Syahrial in Kandangan on Thursday (8/4) said this competition was in line with the success of HSS in the top 30 of most innovative district in Indonesia.
"Bappelitbangda HSS carries out the 2021 Innovation Award for breakthrough and improvements in the management of innovation with integrated management, online regional innovation database making, and strengthening regulation," he said.
He also said that HSS was in the top 10 most innovative districts in the Ministry of Home affairs' IGA (Innovation Government Award), Top 45 and Top 15 Synovics of the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (KemenPAN RB), as well as high category in the Regional Competitiveness Index of the Ministry of Research and Technology's National Research and Innovation Agency (Kemenristek BRIN), and entered the top 10 the Regional Development Award from the National Development Planning Board (Bappenas).
The 2021 HSS Innovation Award is expected to have a positive impact in the framework of developing HSS innovation in the future in a sustainable manner. The implementation was based on the guideline from Government Regulation (PP) No.38 of 2017 concerning Regional Innovation.
"It took place from January 1 to April 8, 2021 beginning with socialization, registration, guidance/innovation clinic, data entry on the online system, administrative assessment, presentation and interview, and ends with awarding the winners," he said.
The contestants were divided into five groups, namely SKPD, sub-districts, villages, general, and appropriate technology. The input of regional innovation data by participants or innovator was done online in the senada.hulusungaiselatankab.go.id system with a total of 154 inputted innovations.
30 best innovations were included in the presentation and interview stages in front of an independent team from the Ministry of Research and Technology's National Research and Innovation Agency, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry, the provincial R&B Agency (Balitbangda), and public figure.
The competition was followed by a seminar by Muhamad Amin from Kemeristek BRIN, Adi Suhendra from Kemendagri, Fika Zaviera Remalia from KemenPAN-RB, and Murwany Viviene Antang from the South Kalimantan Balitbangda.
