Marabahan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Barito Kuala (Batola) government spokesperson for COVID-19 Task Force Hj Azizah Sri Widari said the district added 10 more confirmed positive patients and seven patient were declared recovered.
“Today positive patients increases by 10, while patients recovered are seven,” said Hj Azizah Sri Widari in Marabahan, Friday (Feb 12, 2021).
She explained that new 10 positive patients came from close contact and suspects, 5 of them from Alalak, 2 from Marabahan, 2 from Rantau Badauh, and 1 from Bakumpai.
“The patients are now undergoing self-isolation, one is treated at H Abdul Azis Hospital in Marabahan and one at the Ansari Saleh Hospital in Banjarmasin,” she said.

Meanwhile, Azizah, who is also head of the Health Office, explained about seven recovered patients. Two were a 52 year-old man and a 35-year-old man from Alalak, then a 56-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman from Belawang.
The other three were a 17-year-old girl from Rantau Badauh, a 41-year-old woman from Marabahan and a 42-year-old man from Wanaraya.
Azizah said that with the addition of fresh cases now the total confirmed cases in Bumi Ije Jela (Batola) is 1,247 consisting of 1,087 recoveries (87.17 percent), died 15 (1.20 percent), and active cases 145 (11.63 percent).
In addition, Batola currently has also 8 suspect cases and 156 close contacts.
