Martapura, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The District Government of Banjar announced the implementation of micro-based restrictions on community activities (PPKM berbasis mikro) from February 9 to 22, 2021.
The Regional Secretary of Banjar M Hilman here on Tuesday said the micro-based restriction is implemented in Martapura Sub-district, which is considered ready to be compared to other sub-districts.
"Martapura becomes a model for other sub-districts in the implementation of micro-based PPKM. The application is expected to result in a reduction in Coronavirus cases," he said.
He explained that the PPKM will be accompanied by justisi operations which are carried out routinely by the integrated team to remind the public to comply with the rules. Those who gather above 22.00 Wita (Central Indonesia Time) will be tested for antigen swab.
"The implementation of micro-based PPKM in Martapura Sub-district (with locations) Sekumpul Urban Village, Sungai Pering Urban Village, and Sungai Sipai Village. These three locations were determined because they have quite high COVID-19 positive cases," he said.
Deputy Police Chief of Banjar Comr M Fihim said that the micro-based PPKM is implemented in accordance with the direction of the President with the budget being borne by the related parties.
