Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - South Kalimantan Library and Archive Agency (Dispersip) lent the Library Integrated Service (LTP) books to the Balangan Library Agency to add to the reading collection.
Head of South Kalimantan Library and Archive Agency Nurliani in a press release received by Antara News Agency on Monday (Oct 5, 2020) said one thousand books were handed over to the Balangan Library on Thursday (Oct 1).
"The books submitted were 1,000 copies of various classifications to be borrowed for 3 to 6 months, then will be replaced with new title books," said Bunda Nunung (Nurliani nickname).
She said the time of borrowing can be adjusted according to the need and the books can be taken directly to the South Kalimantan Regional Library or Palnam Library. It can also be delivered.

According to her, the loan of a thousand books was at the request of the local agency to add the book collection and increase reading interest.
"So far, only Balangan Library has submitted a written request to add book collection. Usually, LPT books are directed to schools and prisons," she said.
Head of Balangan Library Agency Mahyudin was grateful for the arrival of Head of South Kalimantan Library and Archive Agency and her entourage who brought reading books aid in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"This loan books will certainly add the collection of reading materials in the Balangan Library and we will continue to improve our human resources so as to increase reading interest," he said.
