Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - On D+4 of Eid 1435 Hijra, vegetable prices soar in Banjarmasin. By reason there are no ships that enter the Port of Trisakti, so traders are forced to bring their merchandise by plane. 


One of the vegetable traders in Banjarmasin traditional markets, Satura, said on Friday, during Lebaran (Eid) no ship sails to Banjarmasin, forcing the middlemen to bring goods by plane. 

"Because of transportation by aircraft, costs rose sharply. So, the price of vegetables in the market also soar," he said.
