Guangzhou, China (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Embassy in Beijing has invited Chinese businessmen to visit the 34th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) to be held between October 16 and 20, 2019. "Looking at the enthusiasm of those present at the 'Indonesia Trade Promotion and Investment Opportunities Forum' held yesterday, I am optimistic that many Chinese businessmen will visit the next TEI," Trade Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, Marina Novira said in Guangzhou on Thursday.

In organizing the forum, the embassy teamed up with the City Government Trade Bureau (BMCB) and the China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC).

In addition to attracting TEI buyers and visitors, the forum was also used as a means of promoting Indonesian products such as food, beverages, farm products, fishery products, manufactured goods, e-trade and transportation.
At the forum, the embassy also introduced the new Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Shanghai to 200 representatives of 150 companies and associations in China.
The forum also highlighted several advantages of Indonesian products and the benefits of cooperation with Indonesia.
Representatives of 10 Indonesian companies who were invited to the forum also held talks with several Chinese businessmen.
