The number of aircraft passengers for Bersujud Batulicin Airport-Syamsudin Noor Airport and Batulicin-Makassar since the beginning of Ramadhan 1440 Hijriah continues to increase.
"Even the increase reached 40 percent compared to normal conditions," said Head of Subdivision of Administration of Bersujud Airport Surya in Batulicin on Thursday.
He said, the average number of passengers in normal conditions ranged between 30-40 people on each flight, but currently it has increased to reach 72 people.
According to him, the increase in the number of passengers occurred because of the flow of homecoming trip which began to run at the Bersujud Airport, thus the number of passengers rose from normal conditions.
At Bersujud Batulicin Airport there is currently only one airline, Wings Air, which serves flights on the Batulicin-Banjarmasin route every day at 11.00, and Batulicin-Makassar every day at 07.00.
