Regent Kotabaru H Sayed Jafar provided assistance to a number of mosques and langgar (worship place smaller than mosque) in his Ramadhan safaris in Mandala Village, Kelumpang Hilir Sub-district.


The arrival of the Regent and his wife and a number of officials were welcomed by hundreds of residents, as well as teenagers of the Jami Mosque in Mandala Village.

In his remarks read by the Head of the Community Empowerment and Village Government Agency (DPMPD) H Hariansyah, he said the safari was to strengthen the relationship between the local government and the community.

In this safari ramadhan a number of assistance was handed over. For Al Ikhlas Mosque, Mandala Village, was in the form of sarongs and Rp100 million in cash, for the Baitul Makmur Mosque in Sahapi Village Rp50 million.

Assistance for Langgar Al Husna Plajau Baru Village Rp40 million, for Langgar Baitul Rahman, Plajau Baru Village Rp30 million,  for Mushalla Al Muttaqim in Tarjun Village Rp75 million.

Assistance for the Al Hijrah recitation group in Tegal Rejo Village was Rp24 million, and assistance for the Langadai Village Darul Karomah Mushalla was Rp8 million.

The Ramadhan Safari was also attended by expert staff of the regent, head of the SKPD, Chairwoman of the PKK Kotabaru, the sub-district head of Kelumpang Hilir, Forkopimka (the sub-district leader communication forum), the village head and hundreds of residents.
