Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Banjarmasin City won the Adipura award for 2018. This is the fourth Adipura the city won.


The news of city of a thousand rivers won the award from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry was announced by the City Secretary Hamli Kursani on Monday at City Hall.
       
"It has been received by our mayor, the Adipura trophy, which was handed over by Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla in Jakarta, today (1/14)," he explained.
       
Hamli did not mention the category of Adipura that was obtained, is it still Adipura Kirana or Adipura Kencana. "The point is that the fourth Adipura is not a matter of Kirana or Kencana, the important thing is that our city get Adipura," he pointed out.
       
He stated, as gratitude and joy for achieving the award for the city has succeeded in improving the cleanliness of the environment, it will be welcomed.
       
He stated, the arrival of the Adipura trophy at the airport to be welcomed by the Deputy Mayor H Hermansyah, then it would be paraded with a parade start from Km 8 Jalan A Yani.
       
"There are many communities, for example, Harley Davidson and old bikes community that will take part in the parade to bring the Adipura trophy," he explained.

Banjarmasin has won the Adipura Kirana category since 2015, continuing in 2016 and 2017 and in 2018 it is targeted to be able to win Adipura Kencana.
