Tanjung, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Karamo Peak Ecotourism in Taratau Village, Tabalong, which is managed by the local Forest Farmer Group, continues to be developed as a local tourist destination.
One of them is the addition of supporting facilities and infrastructure for managers of the Karamo Bersinar Forest Farmers Group for improving services in this ecotourism.
"We have just submitted the assistance of equipment facilities to the KTH manager of Karamo Peak ecotourism," explained the Head of Tabalong District Forest Utilization Section Aidil Fahruraji.
The assistance is in the form of river cruising devices, namely rubber boats, oars, helmets, buoys, and sleeping bags. The assistance from the Production Forests Management Region IX Banjarbaru was handed over through the Tabalong Forest Management Units (KPH).
According to the Chairman of KTH Karamo Bersinar Jaenudin, previously he also received assistance from PT Adaro Indonesia in the form of 50 buoys, helmets and waterproof cameras.
"Apart from presenting the panorama of the mountains, Karamo also provides a river cruising facility for visitors," explained Jaenudin.
As an ecotourism manager, KTH Karamo Bersinar has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation Partnership (NKK) with Tabalong KPH to manage nature tourism services.
